 Amber Visual Limited Amber Visual Limited was founded in 2005 and is based in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. The company was formed by freelance editor and visual effects artist Steve Benn, who had grown increasingly frustrated with limited quality and creative options offered by existing solutions. Amber Visual was created to provide an alternative: high quality, creative software that would be capable of feature film production. As a licensed Adobe developer, Amber Visual concentrate their efforts on Adobe's After Effects software, the market leader for non- linear effects, and Discreet's Combustion compositing software. As well as producing video and film production software, Amber Visual also use their own software to provide post production facilities for themselves and others.
